Very cool video, really loved the idea of the strobes placed around the deck.

Didn't notice if the status lights were on or off. I have strobes (on the deck handrail), but adding one to the drone would make it overweight. (250g)

Not really. They are all over 250g. Weighing them won’t change that, unless your kitchen scale inaccurately under reports the take-off weight. Even if you modify yours in some way to, in fact, reduce it to 249.9 grams, it still broadcasts RID.
