Are you asking a question or making a statement ?

Assuming you are asking for reasons why it is not charging or solutions for the problem, then
1) check the female USB socket for fluff or anything that could prevent the contacts making contact.
2) likewise check the male plug for fluff
3) check for damage of that socket and plug
3) try a different cable.

The micro USB type A socket used on these controllers is prone to damage if you are not careful when trying to insert the normally used micro USB type B plug into them.

It is most likely time to replace the Battery 10 bucks U.S. and it has a connector so no soldering.

Found my problem the DJI power adapter has melted

I am pleased the solution was so simple but at the same time that is a worrying fault.

@M38a11963 The mavic mini is unusual, FCC and CE compliant drones and controllers are different models.

Can't comment on their whereabouts but there have been FCC compliant Mavic Minis sold on in the Europe etc. and I would guess there have been CE compliant Mavic Minis been sold on in the USA.
Some people have been caught out by that when something has gone wrong with either the drone or the controller, their regional repair centres can't get the necessary replacement 'parts' and they end up with bricks.
