Was fascinated with a number of Tiny Planet images on the forum. Since the Mini does not have a Pano option, I thought I’d give it a try manually. With the quarantine and all, and since you can no longer park near my hometown beach, I flew from my backyard. I will get to the beach soon, but until then . . .
Here’s what I did:
Ascended to about 80 feet then rotated the Mini taking:
8 photos with gimbal up - 90% sky, 10% land
8 photos with gimbal center - 50% sky, 50% land
8 photos with gimbal down - 10% sky, 90% land
8 photos with gimbal straight down 100% ground
Used Microsoft’s ICE (free and easy to use). to stitch them together
Cleaned up a couple of minor flaws in Photoshop
A fun project during a tough time.
