Mini on the edge of an Authorization Zone....

So, I was in between houses and according to the DJI map the authorization zone was about 100 feet away... mini took off but would not go in the direction of the 'zone'. So, I just went straight up... when I started to bring it down it backed a few feet more away from the direction of the zone line.. Every time I started to bring it down it backed up a bit more... finally was just hovering over some bushes beside the house next door and I finally decided to just reach up and grab it.... there was a warning that I needed to recalibrate the compass and so that might have been part of the problem....

At one of our flying areas, at a park that sits on the edge of a non-authorization zone, close to a restricted zone (airport). The map is accurate and we accept "responsibility", fly and test (hit) the wall. Fortunately, the remainder of the park is open air. For me, I would calibrate the compass, if requested. Give it a go, calibrate and see if it changes its' flight behavior. Then maybe a different location to check. Enjoy your flying.
