Mini phone adapter

I thought I saw a thread before about a adapter and cable that would attach to my remote and let me use my phone without taking it out of the case. I have searched but cannot find anything. any help would be appreciated.

do you wish to mount the phone in the arms of the controller or somewhere else i.e. above the arms or above the joysticks or above / on the far side of the antennae?
