Mini se range much shorter than expected

Heys guys, I recently purchased the mavic mini we and so I’m loving it. However there is one issue I’m having that’s really limiting me and it’s the range of the drone. All of the videos that I’ve watched show that in urban environments the drone can usually go about 1250~ meters before severe connection loss problems and stutters. However, mine can only go up to about 300 meters without these problems, 2 times I even completely lost connection and the auto RTH had to kick in to save me. Each time I’ve climbed to 100meters each time and am usually in sport mode. My dad thinks it’s a Wi-Fi interference issue but I’m having trouble believing that because I watched a range test video of a person flying through a dense suburban area and getting about 1.2 km of range. Any ideas why this may be happening? I’ll link the range tests that I’ve watched below

Check you haven't been sold the European version on the Mavic SE. It has nothing like 1250m range; 300m is the best anyone could hope for. The Mavic SE in Europe has also managed to challenge all those businesses who specialise in tweaks for range.
