Missing Cable

Just case you have looked closely at the charging port on the controller and, because of the rectangular socket, think it needs a special cable, it does not. The manual says the SE uses the same controller as the Mavic Mini.
Assuming that to be true, the socket on the controller is a micro USB type A socket. It accepts the plug of the more common micro USB type B type ( as used on many phones). See USB hardware - Wikipedia
THE DANGER is that the chamfered corners of the micro USB type B plug MUST be uppermost i.e. nearest the joystick. You may damage the socket in the controller if you try to put a micro USB type B plug in the wrong way up.

There's a small diagram on the side of the remote near the charge port that shows the orientation as well

True but not everyone can see that or notices it or realises what it is meant to indicate. Some folks have taken it as a failed cut out and been all set to either return their controller or cut it out.
