This is an amalgamation of my Monaco footage and Saint Tropez footage giving a Small taste of the Cote D' Azur
Sadly no internal shots of Monaco so only from the edge of their restricted zone - no time to get relevant approvals

Very limited places to fly in this area.

For instance, Geoportail shows some unrestricted space around the edges of St. Jean de Cap Ferrat but the local tourism office will tell you no flying at all on that peninsula.

I remember looking at the maps around Monaco, the only open space was up towards the golf club, looking down at the principality in the distance. I went up there and took pictures but didn't fly.

Likewise, St. Tropez there were some unrestricted space on the edge of the coastal road towards the Citadelle and the cemetery there but really no place to pull over and launch/land.

I agree with the Above where the shots were taken in Monaco was 150 metres from a red zone and the Drone warned of thr proximity Hence vertically up and panning shots While Saint Tropez were all over water in the bay or a ground camera within
Cannes again red all the way down the Coast till almost where the other shots over Ile D'Or were taken
It really does limit the drone pilot in France ! Same with Ski resorts while Italy is much more Drone friendly
