Air 2 More rays - manta, spotted eagle, and sting

Manta was beautiful but suggest shorten some shots and crop if possible. Enjoyed, keep it up.

Great capture. I enjoy capturing dolphins and whales when I get the chance. I would have flown a lot lower, closer, adding more clarity and drama. However you have to be comfortable with that, having adequate experience, looking around VLOS for nearby boats before you get real low, etc.

Thanks for the feedback. I already did a lot of cropping and trimming, but i agree, i could do more. I have noticed that the older the audience (some friends and relatives), the longer they want the video to be, and vice versa. I usually aim for a minute, maybe 2.

Yeah, i need to work on getting lower. These rays were really close to the break though, and i didn't feel comfortable getting lower. At one point, the angle of the sun penetrating into the water made a strange effect that made me think my drone had drowned (not in the video).

I look forward to capturing dolphins and whales one day.

Quite a sight! Thanks! I've been hoping to get a shot of some whale sharks. I've spotted them many times flying down to Baja but I've never been able to get close enough when I had a camera. They cruise along like those Mantas and people insist that they are very gentle. I have seen, photographed and touched many Grey Whale mamas when they've swam up close to our boats to show off their 20 ft long newborn. You can tell the babies. They're the ones without barnacles. Absolutely a life changing moment. The whales' birth near the town of Guerrero Negro, named after the Hawaii, based whaling ship that, way overloaded, sank during a storm as it was leaving the Lagune in the late 1800's

That sounds amazing! I was in Guerrero Negro back in 1997, and it was amazing but you definitely had a special experience there.

I've been lucky enough to have to privilege of swimming with a huge pod of spinner dolphins once and whale sharks, both in the wild off the coast of Utila (Honduras). I've also snorkeled with eagle rays on many occasions. ❤️
