I am looking for any information on hoe to upgrade my DJI M2EA motors and battery to get longer flight times. If anyone has such information or sources to improve the flight time of a DJI M2EA drone please respond to this discussion. Does anyone know of any other methods to improve the flight time of a DJI M2EA drone please also respond to this discussion.

Changing the motors would require you to change the P.I.D. Data. Thats something DJI doesnt give its users access too,

Didn't think about that, makes sense. Thanks for taking time to read and respond back. Have a great day.

There was 7500mAh battery for sale on Aliexpress, but it's no longer available. In theory, it should work. In practice, you would be risking the drone every time you took it up.

I’ve seen the extended batteries for M3. But the extra weight just contradicts itself requiring more power to compensate for the weight. They only extend the flight time by a couple minutes. Sounds like you need a purpose built custom drone.

I used that doublestack battery, pictured above. It only extended flight time by ~10 min. Drone was much more wobbly in flight (b/c center of gravity is higher). Gimbal has had hard time compensating. Then I tried adding four 18650s, two on each side. That contraptiin flew better, but looked ungodly. Ended up selling M2 and getting n M3.

Biggest change from Mavic 2 to the Mavic 3 series and Mavic 4 Pro has been the increased flight time without needing any complicated and expensive third party battery mods, and no swelling batteries!
