Hi all

I get the message motor overloaded. Check if gimbal clamp is removed.

Of course iT is. Restarted several times
Mavic gets really hot at the botom
Gimbal is turning every way and stops not really in the middle but facing down left a little
Cannot calibrate. Stops at 5%

What to do?

Can i redo the firmware with my mobile phone? I am on holiday.

Please help!

I presume you do not have an ND filter on, these can sometimes cause gimbal overload motor warning.

Is your fan working? Can you touch the bottom of the Mavic with your hand without getting burned? The heat sink should not get above 110° without the fan kicking on. If it is too hot to touch, you probably have a fan problem.

The bottom is very hot!!

I cant tell you what to do except send it in for repair, or do the repair yourself. I can tell you what not to do, and that is dont turn it on again, unless you want to turn it into a smoldering mass of fried electronics. Not joking.

My 2¢
This has nothing to do with the heating issue that TD informed you about.
For the message about 'motor overloaded' I got a similar message about the motor when I tried taking off in grass that was just high enough to touch the blades.
I'm guessing here but it seems to me that the system can detect even the slightest resistance to the blades and motors when they do that very small movement during startup.
