Is this a common problem? I just became aware of it and noticed it on my own Mavic 3. What should be done to prevent or correct this issue?

Moisture has several sources. Without water, the world would be a bit different.
We just need to live with its consequences.
Would this be your first drone?

The props are plastic and can't rust. The minor rust on the motor spindles doesn’t affect how the props are locked onto the motors. Nothing to be concerned about. It's basically cosmetic. If it bothers you, remove the props periodically and wipe it off. All DJI props on all their drones exhibit this over time.
