New to Flying the MP. I was getting ready to fly the other day and Go 4 said I needed to update the software. So I did. After completion it said the Mavic needed updating. So I did. Everything seems to be OK --except-- I can not start the motors by pulling the control sticks back to the left or right. The only way to fly is Auto T.O. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Try calibrating the remote controller in DJI GO like this:

I tried the controller calibration. Still no motor start with the sticks

Do you have beginner mode disabled?

I always thought the command is

Left stick: left and down (7:30 o clock )
Right stick : right and down (4:30 o clock)

I believe it works either that way, sticks down and outward, or with the sticks down and inward.

Well, except in Chi's case, anyway. :(

Right -- both of those positions should start the motors.
