No ability to use both Dji Ass2 or Go4 to finish any upgrade or down grade on the M2P.

In ass2 it gets to 20% on the button, restarts the drone two times before the update fails. With go4 it gets to 44% restarts drone two times and fails.

Says try again, contact Dji with logs.
I diwnloaded any logs to my PC if it may help.

Upon finding the drone will not spin motors, smart controller said everything up to date. I first trued ass2, and figured if no joy to refresh, twice, I would down grade, it fails too.

I go with go4 and now says new 079 firmware available, then the same fails.

I would do a factory reset if that were possible. The drone has no gimbal, bought as parts or repair. Error is,
200 with check USB port, and contact dji.
There is a RID number in the go4 info screen.

I looked with BluTooth but don’t see drone as in broadcasting ID number.
What app is recommended to search for aircraft broadcasting?

Any thing I can try to finish the firmware update process?
The progress starts with downloading, then transmitting, the upgrading but upgrading fails.

Yes Egor. I installed a gimbal, whether it mattered but….
I turned the drone on afterwards and the incompatible or inconsistent firmware message to upgrade came up.

I repeated the process and noticed a message while it began updating. ‘Update log is empty’.

This time it was paused at 74 percent. Then bam, it said Update complete, restart the vehicle.

It restarted and I had not notes, and checking firmware gave latest versions.

I am still redoing the Gimbal since it was overload condition. I find two motors that cause the gimbal joints to show uneven spacing.
Causing unbalanced forces.

First pic. I pushed motor in a bit to much to level it. Now relieving the drag on the coil side. Using the motor puller.1000013479.jpg

I remember now I have to agree with Felix!
No.1 You must have a bunch of time and money First thing I would do is get a NEW Gimbal. You are going to Bleed money on that repair!

Working. Amazing what gimbal sensitivity is in producing Gimbal overload and having all rotating surface clearances as level as can be.

I think after buying gimbal parts from AliExpress that a close inspection of these parts is warranted. The Chinese pop new motors in and send the used parts out.

I take away some satisfaction being a tinker fundamentalist. Fixing watches and now drones is time well spent in retirement.

Gotta post in software, since I am employing a EV2400 and CP2112 but my computer has not recognized the 2112. DJI battery killer keeps saying can't open 2112 HID USB to SMBUS adapter. I think I need a software program to configure 2112 and make a play to get a driver, or when plugged in I get the USB connection.
