I have an M2P that I just replaced a signal cable and Pitch motor for a client. He crashed it and had to buy it. I tried to op check it. No error codes. Motors all spun up. I applied up stick, i heard the motor RPM increase very slightly but it will not spin up to fly. Not in a restricted zone. All updates seem to be current. I suspect the ESC board is shot. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should proceed?

Edit: After getting back into the drone and just going through every setting possible, I discovered the remote was in mode 3 which puts the up/down on the right stick. First time ever I have encountered someone in the US not using mode 2.

So have a laugh at me and let this be a lesson to people who fix drones.

At least you got it sorted out :)

Happened to me and was very difficult to find.... it's just not what you are looking for when things go bonkers. Anyway, glad to see you figured it out; I'm certainly not laughing at you!!!

Thank you for posting, I'm sure the info will come in handy in the future. Might just jog someone's memory.

I think it's really useful to see mistakes like this so the rest of us have more hints on what to look for when we run into problems ourselves.

I remember getting a new Pentax DSLR - one day I went outside and the image was in monochromatic shades of blue. I panicked and started to think that there was something wrong with the sensor. Until I realized that I had taken a shot in manual white balance mode the previous day and had forgot to reset it back to auto white balance.

Live and learn!

Check your props one set may be backwards I made that mistake on my contixo drone I bought for my grandson
