Like DJI does with many of their other drones, it's just a slight upgrade mid release cycle. For many current Mavic Pro owners, it's probably not worth selling the Mavic Pro and upgrading. However, it's a good opportunity for soon to be Mavic owners to take advantage of a few new features.
