If you are using dual controls on an MP1, if the primary controller disconnects, does the secondary one retain control?
So, could one fly to the location of a person with the secondary controller, who is, say, on top of a hill, and they then fly over the hill and out of range of the primary controller? Then return control back by flying back into the primary controller’s range? And if so is the transfer ‘smooth’ - could you be recording the whole time?
And, secondly, can you fly with the primary controller only connected, then whilst in flight sync to the secondary - so, you fly from an area out of range of the secondary then ‘hand over’ as the aircraft comes into range of the secondary? Scenario such as flying to a mate who is out-of-VLOS over a hill, then they take over as they see the aircraft appearing and they sync to it.
