To add confusion, the M2 has the same lighting as the spark.

Red on the front, green on the back.

As far as I know, all DJI drones have the same lighting scheme. Red on the front, and the rear color varies depending on the status of the aircraft. On the Mavic Pro, I turn off the front LED's and cover the rear LED with Gorilla Tape. On my Spark & Phantom, I use electrical tape to cover all the LED's.. I just use my own custom lights with the proper red/green left/right configuration with strobes on top.
