This place is incredible! We were able to camp near the edge of a 1000' cliff on slick rock with awesome views of Valley of the Gods and Monument Valley. A perfect place for the drone to explore and dive the ridges. The Geology here is strange to say the least, massive train size boulders that were perfectly rectangular and look as if they were man made. I cannot imagine the geologic processes that were able to produce these massive blocks! Drones used were the DJI FPV Drone carrying the DJI Action 2 camera and the DJI Avata upgraded to the Axisflying 3.5".

Great place, I've flown there numerous times. You need to set your drone so that the horizon does not tilt everytime you turn. Annoying.

This place was pretty incredible for camping, had to include a bit of video of our campsite. Glad you liked it

As a pilot I actually like the tilting horizon in banking turns. It is the same view you would get if viewing inside a plane or fighter jet. Manual mode requires that the gimbal or camera remain fixed to provide the same view you would see if you were actually in the drone. It is just personal preference, but flying in N or S mode with the horizon locked flat is boring to me and I only fly in M mode. FPV is far more dynamic and interactive and diving vertically down is about as exciting as it gets. Thanks for watching.
