multiple controller issues

Good morning. I'm having a series of problems that I can't resolve. I had a fan failure in my first Mavic Air but DJI replaced the drone(no charge - thank you DJI). These problems have occurred with both drones.
Below are the issues and the steps I've taken to try to fix.

1. Virtually every time I fly I have to calibrate the compass
  • I've re calibrated the compass multiple times as well as the IMU
2. The Mavic Air will rotate slowly with no controller input.
  • I've calibrated the controller multiple times. Usually it will fly properly for a short while and then the problem returns.
3. I frequently get "interference" messages and lose connectivity for a short period of time.
  • Don't have any clue as to how to address this issue.

Thanks for any assistance.

Does it happen from multiple takeoff points?

Does it rotate the same way every time? Since you have already calibrated the controller multiple times, try changing out the props and see if that helps.

The Mavic Airs that I have owned do that all the time. Try to aim your controller right at the bird. You can also opt for an aftermarket antenna booster.

It might need degaussing with Cfixer or something similar.

Check your firmware versions in djigo4 i believe buried in "ABOUT"

knowing will better opt what you can abate mitigate or negotiate, reason being this mavic air evolvement (began january23rd2018) is made possible by continuous improvement.

the compass cal nag seems to have been tempered by the march2019 aircraft firmware560

i have been trying to escape the warnings from weak antenna signal, strong aircraft interference, signal lost, black and white imagery, that i assume are caused from zone actuated software warns instead of actual conditions jamming drone and rc.

i think mavic air is borderlined inoperable in metropolis broadcast environment, period. its a hobbiest wireless technology nothing articulated or sophisticated to protect against inoperability caused from interferences.

i reviewed prior firmware versions and djigo4 versions which might be promising to radius enlargement (range). there's some conflict insofar as which version of asst2 works with prior firmware and djigo4 versions. it is like putting yourself back in time using what was then being used.
