Been flying for a couple of years, was filming a friend's daughter's graduation party yesterday, lost sight of my Mavic and flew into a tree, down it went and broke the rear arm right at the motor. Got home and check on my care-refresh agreement, it expired a week ago...Darn, isn't that how it always works.

So ordered a new back arm, watched a couple of videos, will attempt to fix it myself when I get the arm next week.

Will let you know how it goes. Fingers Crossed.

Good luck. Just take your time ans study those videos.
When I used to repair all my Phantom crash’s I was bad to take pictures of teardown just to have them and some came in handy at times.

Sorry to hear. You might check to see if your gimbal works properly too before the arm arrives, so if it is also damaged, you can repair both at the same time.

I agree with @dirkclod. When I do repair, I mount one of my GoPros on my magnifying light to capture the teardown. That way, if I need to, I can view it to remind myself of how things were :)

Good luck. Take your time, you can do this!
