Love my Mavic so far. Although my first one had a defective ESC and I had to return it after I took it on a trip to Hawaii and couldn't fly it there. I've been having a blast. I am quite terrified if losing it or crashing, I've been quite conservative. I need to get over my fears. All these 'lost connection' posts terrify me.
For those wondering, I did talk to Dallas Love tower prior to this flight. I was out of the 5 mile radius, but still within the DFW/Love Class B. They've been super cool so far.
