My smart controller screen gets very hot!

I have the brightness set on 60%, have a screen protector on but it gets VERY hot...even the back is hot. I am in Texas so the weather is hot! Is that normal?

I usually use the brightest screen setting. No protector on the screen. And yeah, mine gets really hot too.

Try to stay out of direct sunlight if possible. Being in direct sunlight makes it even worse.
