We know NASA are capable of doing cover ups (though if you look on YouTube you will see their Globe Earth myth has been busted )
On a, slightly, more serious note on Anti Aircraft battery's it is not the detecting radar that shoots you down but the associated equipment with it.
If you think about it if NASA do/did have permission to bring down flying things in their area then for the last 50 years it would have been conventional AA guns, not some death ray
If NASA had AA guns on the site some one would have noticed them before now and there would be photos/video all over the place.
As for the loss of the drone my money is on it being Aliens and the Illuminati. They are behind everything the Mafia and the Freemasons aren't running.
