Hi everyone, I am going to the Drone show in Birmingham U.K. at the weekend. I am a brand new aspiring drone pilot that has never flown a proper drone.
After much online research, I intend to buy a M2P at the show. Is this a wise choice for a beginner?

If you’ve got the money then yes it’s superb and will grow with you. The Mavic Air is a really solid choice if you want something the right side of £1k

I was tempted to go to the show myself. Might see if my little boy wants to go. He wants a drone for Christmas...

I went with the Zoom only to save a few pennies and to have the ZOOM capability. It is my first drone and am enjoying it. I think with its sensors and safety features it is a reasonable first drone. I have to admit that I have crashed it a few times in the confines of my backyard with fruit trees and shrubs and lawn. I've pruned or mowed all of that vegetation and also pruned my bathroom window. Window 1, Drone 0 (broke one propeller) but the drone survived. Oh, yeah, pick up a few extra propeller sets (g)

So, its done, I have a shiny new M2P with flymore and care package. Just need some decent weather to start flying.

Try not to fly indoors until you’re accustomed to the controls, fly outside in open areas.

You’ll like it. Incredible drone. I love flying mine - when the weather allows! Try and find a nice cheeky local flying site and get some stick time in.
