I need a cell phone or pro controller. I have a Samsung z fold phone that I don't believe supports the drone app. Should I buy the 1200$ remote from DJI or buy a cell phone? Any and all advice is welcome.

I haven't the slightest clue either way but testing seems the glaringly obvious thing to do, I see absolutely no drawbacks to that idea.You telling me it might work?

What Ipads do you currently have? It would be advised that you use a 4th generation Ipad or higher when using the fly app.

I use a Tripltek 8 pro and it is pretty amazing. Bigger and brighter than the RC Pro. You can use it for multiple drones too.Some on this forum have suggested the TriplTek 8” for this. It has a 1200 nit display. At $800 it is a reasonable alternative to Pro controller.
