Need help activating (can I do it through Assistant 2?)

I just got my Mavic Pro and have it plugged in to my laptop, updating the firmware. I have NOT run DJI Go app on my smartphone yet. I thought Assistant 2 application on my laptop would give me the option to activate my drone, but I guess not? Was this a mistake for me to upgrade the firmware before running the DJI go app with the Mavic Pro connected? I hope I didn't screw this up. I just thought it would be wise to get the firmware stuff done ahead of time...

Anyways, I need to know how to activate my drone because I know I only have 48 hours to get the DJI Refresh. Can this be done through Assistant 2?

Use your device to register your aircraft using the DJI Go 4 App.
Using assistant 2 to activate your aircraft is not recommended in my personnel opinion. It's better for calibrations and downgrading FW.
Install The app and activate from there.

No. You must use DJI GO.
