I went out tonight with my daughter and my Mavic to take some sunset pics. I ran into two distinct problems and I'm hoping the people here can teach me where I'm going wrong/what I need to adjust to correct these issues.

1. Pic 1 - Too white/bright. I tried playing with the white balance, trying out each of the presets as well as the custom. Nothing worked. A lot of my pictures turned out like this.

2. Pic 2 - I assumed the Mavic camera would take far higher resolution pics. The Mav is about 15 feet up in the air at this point and zoomed in a bit. I figured I'd be able to zoom in without so much degradation in the quality. Instead I'm finding it gets pixelated fairly quick.

What do I need to change to fix these issues?

My take:
1. White balance is just the first crude adjustment. Set for sunlight or overcast as the case may be.
2. Change resolution on camera setting to desired resolution
3. Change to manual exposure (not auto)
4. Adjust ISO to 100 (least amount of noise)
5. Adjust (right wheel) shutter speed up or down so that you get EV of 0.00 or -0.7
