Does this screenshot mean that I need to be 5 miles away from the airport zone shown as the grey circle? If so, then why does BFUFly say it is good to go? Confused. Thanks. My pin is in the lower right corner at the end of "Rumstick Rd."

Because your location pin is outside the 5 mile airport zone.
You're 0.87mi outside the circle where you'd need authorization.
Oh, so I am outside the circle by 0.87 miles so I am good to fly where I am then? No authorization required? Thanks for info.
5 miles has nothing to do with it per se, but yes it would appear you are outside of controlled air space.
