Neo connection problem.

Hello, I bought a Neo 5 months ago used it for a hour or so, today I thought I would give it a fly weather is good now, but seems a lot has changed software wise, for me for the worse the only option I have is to control the drone via the phone which works but I don't like it, I want to use the remote but I can't find a setting to allow the remote as stick control, in fact I am not even sure my remote is connecting.

How can I bypass the phone to drone connection?

Which controller are you using? Are you able to ioen the the Fly app on the controller? Do you see the Neo listed among the drones to connect? What happens when you try to connect?

Controller RC-N3
Flyapp open but I think it's just to phone and drone even though wire is connected to remote and phone.




The drone works on phone touch screen, control is set to N, nothing works on controller and the 4 leds just flash when the drone is in air, I also get no SAT numbers.

There does not seem to be an option to define fly from phone or fly from controller.

App called DJI Fly and is up to date.

Edit: I saw a video last night that if you leave a drone in store and don't charge the controller that this can prevent the connection from it to the drone.

Update: just watched a video about remote connection problem and it talked about the controller two sockets one being a blank and the other -Right- being the main one, I made this mistake thinking the left was for android and the right for apple, anyway problem fixed both my drones are working, off to test my Potensic ATOM.
