Had Remote ID thread been open to further comment Id not have started another. Keep in mind the new regulation doesnt simply address Remote ID but also Night Flights, and Flight over People. Thanks Greg for your time and energy. A quick gargle with colloidal silver would wipe the scratchy throat clear, near immediately. Thats a homeopathic solution as Id dare not suggest its a cure. The FDA would have my bullocks in a vise.

FAA Revise sUAS Regulations​

Greg, course instructor presents the essence of the forthcoming FAA revised sUAS (small Unmanned Aerial System) regulation. Not yet fully implemented though portions may occur as early as March 2021.

Remote ID will be a couple years down the road; likely not before Sep 2023, as broadcast message content is debated and finalized.
Ive little doubt that DJI will provide firmware updates to enable all the qualifications for RID, OOP, and Night Ops. No fret. Note: OOP = Operations Over People, RID = Remote ID

In the OOP area of concern the Mavic Air 2 and Mavic Mini 2 will be accessible to (aftermarket accessory purchase) a prop guard that further enhances protection from rotating props (Cat 1 and 2). Or else DJI will provide provide the paperwork showing compliance, with their prop guards. I see an emerging 3D printer product market here.
