when i fired up my 2s this morning i got a message of a new firmware update so i updated it now what will this new update do/

I think the phone app developers did this to us. Most of them post release notes like "squashed some bugs" or "added some new features" rather than actually saying what the did. Seems like that trend is spreading. When the behavior of your drone is involved, "fixed some bugs" isn't really a satisfactory statement. But what can you do.

Some caution may be appropriate. Sometimes updates can go in a direction that may not be pleasant. Some research prior to hitting the update button may save some aggravation that you probably don’t need.
