Air 2 New Idrea Ghost Town

I took a bike ride to South San Benito county to New Idrea and flew the drone to see what's left after a fire a few years ago. New Idrea was a major source of mercury during the California gold rush and was abandoned for good back in the 70s. It's now a superfund site and the creek runs orange!

That's a cool video. Its hard to imagine living there.
For some reason, and it might have been my equipment, there was a strange focus on the trees but not on the buildings. I haven't seen that before?
