New Mavic Mini pilot

Hi guys,

New pilot here, and just bought my first drone, a mavic mini few days ago. Did some research, and with under 250g (no registration required etc. in UK) and a decent price, I thought its probably the best option for me. Have done a few short flights so far but still a bit nervous to go high and long. With so many restrictions in place, just trying to get my head around.

Hope to learn a lot from this forum.

Low and slow is always a good beginning.
Did you get it from Currys by any chance? They had combo's for a good price that coincided with an offer on ebay, they seemed to literally fly of the shelves, oh dear I'll get my coat. Read the propellor threads

I bought it from Amazon. The combo was going for a decent price. I think it was similar to currys price at the time. Also bought dji refresh, sounds like a no brainer for new pilots.
