New Pilot’s Inaugural Flight

Hi All

Took my Mavic Pro for her maiden flight today in the local area (Nottinghamshire, UK).

Took a few pictures of the village (Clipstone) and of the old steam train water tank that was used to supply engines with water back in the days of steam.

Here Ye , Here Ye
On this day 30th,March, 2019 an inaugural flight was undertaken by a Mavic Flyer AdmiralBates1701 piloting his Mavic Pro in the lovely area of Nottinghamshire, UK.

During this flight some stunning images were captured that illustrate the artistry of flight and synchronicity of gathering images in unison. The skill exhibited while piloting this flight was only upstaged by the ability to capture well framed and composed images. Some of the images detailed an old steam train water tank that was used to supply train engines with water back in the days of steam. This hearkening back to a an existence long forgotten fills us all with reverie and causes us to pause.

Ask not what your Mavic can do for you , but what you can do for your Mavic. To all a goodnight.

Well said BDOG, isn't it so true that the love of this "sport" is being able to view the world from a new perspective. As a former paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division I missed seeing things from above,( although at that time I had more to worry about), now I can view it from the comfort of my backyard. Nice pictures.
