Hi. I'm new to drone flying having just bought my first, a Mavic 2 Pro. Having serious thoughts about taking the CAA exams to gain some respect here where drones are currently seen as the "Enemy in the sky" following the Gatwick Airport fiasco and negative press coverage of same. Impressed with the drone, but not with the camera, it seems to suffer from still camera stutter when panning. I think it's down to the type of shutter Hasselblad have used. Any way, much to learn and enjoy. Get back to me if you have any questions about our area.

Hi @Soledamcer, and welcome to the forum dude. With regards to the stutter when panning, I used to get the same results but this all went when I increased the shutter speed to be twice that of the fps I was shooting at. You might already know this so apologise if that is the case. You could also double the shutter speed again to 120th of a sec for even smoother panning.

Thanks. I should know that, but photography mixed with flying a drone can lead to confusion. I'll try it next time I'm out. I know my still camera suffers some lag when panning just because the shutter is optimised for stills, and I suspected the Hasselblad might be the same. I'll let you know how I get on. Thanks again. Phil
