Hello everyone!

Exited to be a part of the Mavic community! Drone newbie here, currently based in Dubai, and been travelling to different parts of the world with my Nikon. For someone who is fascinated with visuals, landscaped in particual, the Mavic has given me a whole new perspective on this amazing planet we live in.

is it legal to fly a drone in UAE?

Not really. Depends on which part of the UAE. The government has issued clear guidelines on do's and dont's, regulations, licensing, no-fly zones etc. Its actually quite easy to register as an individual or business with the
UAE General Civil Aviation Authority. Its a lot easier in Dubai, not sure of the rules in Abu Dhabi.
