I just checked b4ufly app and is telling me that the area is prohibited to fly because of the airport. I have not idea now where to fly. I guess it will have to be a remote area. Anyone know where in SJ?

Washing lake park is outside of the restricted zone but within 5 miles of of 5 airports/helipads and if they have towers will require notification. Someone flew there last year

Nice but I do not have balls like that guy that flew over moving cars. Someone also mentioned blueberry hill, gibbsboro, NJ. I will check these two places.

I think it’s ok to fly over cars to get to a point, like crossing a street but not flying along from above.

Flew at Blueberry hill today. There is a large open area to eXPLORE. I did notice some large aircraft ahead occasionally so fly with caution. Unfortunately the internal memory was full and everything I thought I was recording was not. Bummer.

Great to know that... I will check that area on my next adventure. Unfortunately this weekend will be raining.

That doesn’t mean that you can’t fly there, prior approval is just required (I believe the “Planning” tab of B4UF is supposed to be one way to request that permission.)

B4UF can be misleading, it suggests that flight is prohibited 20 miles outside of Phila Intl, but it’s really only about 8 miles from Phila that the Class B airspace includes altitudes from the surface to 7000 ft. If you are good with “keeping it legal” and staying under 400 ft, no special permission should be required if you get a few more miles SE of Deptford, but if using Go4, you’ll have to jump through the hoops with DJI’s app in advance of the meetup before you can fly there. Cross Keys and / or Camden Co airports will require notification if you get within 5 miles of them, of course.

What about around Glassboro?

EDIT - interestingly, Hover only shows that a 5 mile radius of Phila Intl is restricted. When in doubt, Skyvector.com is a good source for the actual controlled airspace.
