Howdy!
I received my Mavic Pro as a gift last week and, in looking for answers/suggestions, I kept finding myself back in your community here so I felt like I had to join your ranks and get in on the conversation.
Working in technology, I have a good foundation of general tech and RF knowledge but I have very little RC experience and none with airborne RC. While I'm having a blast flying and learning, what I've probably enjoyed the most is getting to open a new piece of tech that I didn't already have any idea of how to operate (and didn't have a deadline to get fully production-ready LOL).
The site has already been a big help with my learning curve, so thanks!
I've already captured some good fireworks footage, found a few ways to use it for work and even stretched out my nerve to a little over 1.5 miles (high pucker factor on that one!) and look forward to more adventures.
