Hi there all of you!

Started with DJI Spark and were flying it below 1 month after I got "flyaway"!!
Was looking for the drone for about 1 week, but could`t find it.. Looked by "Find my drone", but still no luck.
Contacted DJI and they wanted me to upload my Flight Log wich I did, but they tell me that they can`t see any error messages.

I was discussing with them for over 2 months, and at last I told them that I never was going to buy any products of you anymore.

Well end of that story, Using Mavic Pro now since I didn`t have the Spark for a long time and thought it will be better with the Mavic. Been flying 2 times now with no problems. Sometimes I get "Aircraft disconnected" wich is very frustating, so I don`t know why this happens. Running Android.

Best Regards,

HiYa

Thanks a lot!
Sure, I`ll post videos and photos. Had my first flying with Mavic Pro last day and took a video shot.
It`s cold here in North Europe, so in the Winter time is also good time for taking nice shots/videos :)

The most important thing for me is to avoid flyaway I got with my first Spark. And also sometime "Aircraft disconnected". Not sure why this happens.

Do you also experience this? Maybe because flying behind tall buildings?

Most important thing before taking off is a good gps lock & the home point has been activated, then you’re good to go, both points are very important;)

Hi. I'm an FAA certified pilot upgrading from Mavic to Mavic 2 Pro. I'm used to using an ipad with DJI Go 4 App with the original Mavic. Are there any special steps I need to take to begin using the DJI Go 4 App with the new Mavic 2 Pro? Do I need second "instance" of the app to be installed/linked to the new drone, or do I need to uninstall the existing App and start fresh? Will I still be able to operate the old drone with the ipad or will I be taking the old drone out of commission? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! :)

Flying behind tall buildings will definitely cause the remote controller to disconnect.

You don't have to do anything special to fly other drones in DJI GO. Just do the same thing you've been doing with your Mavic Pro.

Will I still be able to operate the old drone with the ipad
Yes. You can fly as many drones as you'd like with the same DJI GO installation.

Keep the battery warm prior to flight and I suggest using auto takeoff and let it it a minute.
Auto takeoff should ensure a good home point and the minute sitting there will get the battery warm. Be sure to read the User Manual about flying in low temperatures.
If you are using the cable from the side of the RC to the display I suggest you switch to the bottom USB port on the RC to the display. Too many problems encountered with lost display.
REMEMBER a lost display does NOT mean loss of control. You still have control over the AC. Too many people loose the display and quit flying. If the RC or display shows ATTI that is a disconnect from the RC.

Showing atti does not mean it’s disconnected. It means it will not have gps to hold a stable hover without drifting. In atti it will drift with the wind .
