NEW S2 Camera setup

i can't get the s2 to take pictures or videos. i formatted the sd card and tried the internal memory with no luck.
any suggestions, or do i have a defective drone?

In the settings, do you have "save to SD" or "internal"?

Also... you don't actually need to fly to take a picture or video.
Connect the drone to the controller... as you normally would...
And take a picture or video to test.

I always suggest placing the drone on a hard surface... particularly
if you are inside. That is don't just lay the drone on a soft bed.
The drone gets rather warm even sitting still on the "ground".
I use a large kitchen cutting board so the drone has air flow under
neath the body.
I also have folding land gear such that the drone has even more
clearance above the "ground."
