I customized my MA2 with a new skin and feel good about it. It improved visibility from several hundred feet and the custom feel when it landed. Here are some flight pictures. Show off your skins

Not hard, decal is flexible in lifting and repostioning. Take some patience and time. Good instructions come with it. There are youtube that show how. Wish you the best. There are many to chose from.are they hard to put on?? looks kool
I agree, I have skinned several times and have found that most and color will not matter once you have some long distance ( a dot in the sky). I have found the "brighter" colors appear more visible for my type of flying, close in and VLOS. I have not tried any "neon" colors. Others may wish to weigh in on those. This color works for me for several 100 feet and looks great close up and landing. I was testing the follow feature in the woods today and glancing back, it was very visible. BTW: That is incredible, to watch it stop, think and then go around a tree to capture me again. Another story for another threadI often wonder what the best colour of a skin would be for visabuility, generally the drone is up against a light sky so would dark or colourful be best ?
I've had this one in my cart so many times. I like the way the parts that aren't wrapped still blend in.View attachment 104649View attachment 104651am i the only one who went with a dark camo theme ?
I think you made a good choice. What pleases you is important. I am looking at a Wrapgrade army (dark) bumby camo for my MM. . Your quad looks great. Enjoy your flying.am i the only one who went with a dark camo theme ?
Well, that certainly hasn't been my experience--swallows, gulls, crows, and other birds didn't seem in the least bit worried about my stock Mini or MA2 color.....There is a reason why they are white. One color that the majority of birds avoid is white. A dull or bright white signals alarm and danger to birds, causing them to avoid those areas.
The eye is most sensitive to yellow and least sensitive to blue. Reflective, polished aluminum like surfaces have terrible visibility, this is from experience as a GA pilot.I often wonder what the best colour of a skin would be for visabuility, generally the drone is up against a light sky so would dark or colourful be best ?
Just stating the science: Colors That Attract Birds - And How to Use Them!Well, that certainly hasn't been my experience--swallows, gulls, crows, and other birds didn't seem in the least bit worried about my stock Mini or MA2 color.....
