new smart controller not accepting wi-fi password

Had the same issue. Turns out I had to change a wifi setting in the router.
I had AES only for encryption. As soon as I set it to TKIP/AES smart controller was able to connect.
Not sure if this was fixed in later firmware or not.

Thank you, turned out that it liked my old password better than my new one. Changing the password was my next choice but didn't really want to do that. Thanks again.
