New York City Area

David - I appreciate your input - first of all I hold a 107 certificate as well as a commercial pilot's certificate. Loosing control of any of the drones I own is never an issue and as a 107 operator I would never fly them over a densely populated area. I've been in the tri-state area since Thursday and managed to get everything I was hoping for while flying under part 107.
How is losing control of your drone never an issue? Just curious...

I never said you were not following safety precautions either. You did mention you wanted tips and my main tip was choosing a Sunday Morning, early because of less foot and auto traffic. You never once mentioned you extensive background, so I was just trying to be helpful.

By the way you are a perfect example of the 5 Hazardous Attitudes according to Part 107. You sound like a mix of #3 & #4. So I guess I have done my homework when it comes to part 107 knowledge...

Don't ask for tips/advice if you think you don't need it. Just saying...

Thanks for the info Doug! I didn't realize that DJI could lock down our drones during a presidential TFR.
They can’t

I’ve never had issue living in Manhattan. If the ahhh President is home.
I refuse to fly. That’s like begging for trouble!
