Hi, everyone! After many months of toying with the idea of buying a drone, and spending the last few days agonizing between the Mavic Pro and the Phantom 4 Pro, I have finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Mavic Pro!
I am curious, though. I live in a nice, fairly wide open subdivision, good for starting out I hope. Minimal obstacles and lots of cool things to take a look at with the Mavic. For those of you who started out in your neighborhood, did you give the neighbors a heads up that you bought a drone? I ask because I don't want there to be any doubt in anyone's mind as to my intentions with the drone--I want to make sure my drone can fly safely without anyone mistaking it for something nefarious and possibly shooting it down (one of the downsides of my area, lol).
Can't wait to spend more time here, and most of all can't wait to put my bird in the sky!
