about ready to pull the Mavic trigger..... should I buy now or wait for the newest Mav to come out??????
I've heard only a couple mins longer flight time and new colors.100$ more
TIA. I look forward to your advice

The new model isn't worth waiting for IMO. Just get a set of the new props when they hit the market and call it good.

I agree with buzzy, don't think it's worth waiting for, u can get the mavic pro for a better price if u shop around so should be able to get it for £200 cheaper or more, then get the new blades and a couple extra batteries and still be quids in, plus u can have it now instead of going on a waiting list

Thanks guys...... now I need to find a business that gives a Veteran discount..... Thumbswayup

Really depends on if you need it tomorrow or if you can wait a month or so? If you can wait I'd look to see early reviews from actual users for the MPP. @ 100 more it might be worth the price especially if you are just getting into the hobby. I have a 10 day old MP and while I could return it w/out fee my upgrade cost would be $200 (flymore) so I'm most likely going to keep it + i just flew my P4P for the first time yesterday and looks like I'll be busy with it for a bit.

The new Mavic is now available for pre-order here in the DJI Store if you don't mind waiting until the end of this month to receive it.

I agree with Buzzy and MDKEY, you're better off taking advantage of the lower cost of the original Mavic which is likely to drop even further with the Platinum on the horizon. Don't be a sucker like me though, skip the "fly more" bundle as the bag is too small, buy a couple spare batteries and a hard case and when the Platinum comes out grab a set of the more efficient props.

Also, if like many others you start with a phone as the screen then upgrade to a larger tablet, don't waste your money on Amazon/eBay mount adapters, go straight for the Mavmount v2. As for devices I'm extremely happy with my Asus Zenpad 10.1" tablet but IOS devices generally have less compatibility issues with DJI GO 4.

Good luck and enjoy your new Mavic!

He, he! Some people (me included) are very good at 3d puzzles and the fly more bag works great. I can fit all thee batteries, the MP, RC, spare blades, cables, SD cards, etc. into mine. Everything I need. I marvel (and like to show off) at how it all fits into the little bag! It does take some doing to fit it all in though.

Using a phone sucks. IMO the iPad Mini 4 is the best bet. It perfectly fits into the arms of the RC and is plenty big. I also like having the RC at the top and easily accessible/visible.
