After much pondering I have finally pulled the trigger on a Mini 3 fly more combo my Mini 2 SE has been great it has got me hooked on flying drones and I now know spending more on a better spec drone won't be a waste of money, if I could have got the RC controller to work with the mini 2 SE I would have kept it unfortunately that's not possible so I am now looking forward to using the new controller, 4K footage and longer flight times.

A question if I may, I have the card below in the Mini 2 SE will this work in the Mini 3?

I was going to put this in the mini 3 forum but thought I would get more answers here.

Thanks in advance.

It depends, you are better off with a V90 card because the bitrate that the Air 3 records is probably much higher than what your Mini records.

I found this on the Kingston site, why is there no tick for 4K in the 90MB/sec column?

Sorry for the noob questions but does this suggest I need a V60?

Because they are so slow they aren't adequate for 4K video recording.
You probably can't find such old/slow cards for sale anyway.

No ... V30 will work just fine for you.

SINCE the original OG Mavic pro I had been using the Sanndisk Extreme series sd cards ,HOWEVER now it seems the newer drones AIR 3s Sandisk is no longer compatible Now DJI is supporting and suggesting LEXAR microSDXC UHS-1 SD CARDS.I just purchased 2 256 gig cards with the adapter for 48 bucks thru Amazon 1 card for the Air 3s and 1 for the rc 2 controller ,Both rejected the Sandisk Extreme series cards

The current drones work just fine with Sandisk cards ... as long as they are fast enough.
I had cards that worked with earlier models fail to work with the newer drones.
But they work perfectly with Sandisk Extreme and Extreme Plus.
Are the cards that you had a problem with V30 ? Because that's what's needed.

I think I have all the Sandisk cards but was rejected by the Air 3s ,My Mini 4 pro and Neo work fine tho.Not sure but think the LEXAR cards are even cheaper How are the Lexar working for you? In running into the same issue.
Have the Lexar been working for you then? I have a Sandisk Extreme Pro 256gb and it’s refusing to save to it. I formatted it originally thru the settings. No go. Took it out and reformatted on my MacBook in the recommended exFAT format. Still no go. Might have gotten hosed with a counterfeit from Amazon.

Was thinking of trying the Lexar but can’t find any in stock until the end of May.

SanDisk cards are serialized. Look on the back and see if it has a serial number on it. It's really tiny but it's there. If there is no serial number it's not authentic. When you buy on Amazon make sure the seller is SanDisk.
