I hate to rain on your parade but since he's a Brit living in the UK, he does not need a part 107 or any of the other things you suggested. He also stated that he had flown drones before, so we might assume he knows the rules already. He would, however, need the British equivalent, should he use his new drone commercially. Oh, and welcome BJDRONE. or welcome back, maybe.

At the time of the post from the OP, his location was " Northwest ", not UK, & I assumed the Pacific Northwest here in the USA.

I also stated, "... if flying in the USA."

The location was changed later by the OP.
