Hi guys, I'm new here and to drones in general.

I just bought a used DJI Mini fly more combo, which was at a pretty appetizing price and with everything including a care refresh warranty.

I took it for a few pretty heavy flights and the drone seems to be operating perfectly.

However, I noticed that there is some fraying on the front propellers, presumably from when it was flown by the previous owner. I will include pictures. I couldn't find any specific information about if this particular issue necessitates replacing the propellers, so I would appreciate your advice? It still has its replacement props from the combo package and they're unopened, I'd just like to know if I SHOULD replace them at this stage or not? Note this is visible only on the front propellers, the rear ones looks pristine.

Thanks in advance!

Hey I appreciate the quick response guys! Ok I'll go ahead and replace them before flying next.

I did read about a known issue with the front propellers sometimes hitting the body for some users, but this doesn't seem to be like that. The body looks to be fine, doesn't look like the pictures of people who had that issue, there are no marks on it.

I'm guessing the previous owner must have brushed something head-on for this to happen. I certainly didn't... I was too scared to fly it near any obstacles for my first times. :D

Welcome to the forum. I would replace them based purely on the cost factor, which for you is zero at this point. Propellers are cheap And if you wear through this next set you can invest in some quieter ones.

Did it make a lot of noise when it was flying, because i am new to drone flying.
The damage shown in post number one would not be noticeable from a noise standpoint. Prop balance would be more of a concern.
