How does the timeframe work for the part 107.29 waiver?

I applied for it and the application asked me for a day, time and location.

I think I saw waivers issued for periods of time like 4 months.

I do want to take night photos at a particular location but if they box me in to one day what if it rains?

Can you get a waiver for a block of time like 4 months?

Obviously this is my first time for a waiver and it would be great of someone could enlighten me because I'm in the dark here.

Thank You very much...

The waiver is for a long period of time not a single day/night. You just have to have a date in the box that's at least 90 days later than the submitting date or it will get rejected by default.

Once you have the night waiver it's good for a couple of years.
